Outlook Express

Is your dial-up connection disconnected after sending/receiving e-mail in Outlook Express? The solution is easily fixed by following the instructions below.

1) Open Outlook Express and then click on Tools from the menu bar and choos Options.


2) From the Options Window click on the Connection tab.
Note: some versions of Outlook Express may have a Dial-Up tab rather than a Connection tab.

3) On the Connection tab (or Dial-up tab) make sure that there is no check in the box in front of "Hang up after sending and receiving". By having this box checked Outlook Express will disconnect after sending/receiving mail.

4) Click the OK button and you are done.
